By virtue of long experience in Coal Business for the last more than two decades, M/s Nair Coal Services Ltd have achieved excellent competence to undertake all sorts of jobs which are associated with the development of Coal Blocks, and can deliver efficient services for achieving the desired results by providing technological expertise and liaison with various Governmental agencies for obtaining approvals/sanctions/permissions etc.
We are also associated with some of the most renowned, recognized and qualified persons, who are on the Panel of the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, and are experts in the preparation of Mine Plans, etc., having vast practical experience and technical knowledge in development of UG&OC Mines. They will be available for us, whenever required, for rendering their expert advice. |

| COAL QUALITY ASSURANCE – A STEP FORWARD |
Considering the need of the hour, the requirement of the society and the nation at large regarding quality of coal, Nair Coal Services Ltd. diversified in the field for inspection, Sampling and Analysis of Coal sample. After introduction of 3rd party sampling and considering the importance of quality assurance in Coal supply, NCSL joined hands with Mitra S.K. Coal Inspection Pvt. Ltd. a reputed and accredited sampling and Testing Agency and formed a joint Coal Sampling Division under an MOU signed during 1995. This division is now jointly operated by Mitras and Nairsons. They have been entrusted with Third Party sampling analysis of coal samples for Western Coalfields Ltd., Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. & Singreni Coalfield Ltd. on behalf of MSEB and coal companies.
Inspection, Sampling, testing and analysis of coal to international standard and analysis results are to be provided to the producing company and consumer company, presently 3rd party sampling with MSEB for WCL, SECL, SCCL, & MCL is being undertaken by Mitra S.K. Coal Inspection Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture with Nair Coal Services Ltd. The following quantities have so far been sampled and analysed for WCL, SCCL, and SECL : |

- Indian Railways for all purposes like getting allotment and placement of coal wagons EDRM sanction,
Submission of Programmes against the monthly linkage by rail, swift movement of coal wagons etc.
- The offices of our customers including headquarters of Maharashtra State Electricity Board, Mumbai , Madhya Pradesh Power generating Co., Ltd (MPPGCL) & Gujarat State Electricity Company Ltd., &
- The Energy Ministries of concerned State Governments and the Ministry of Coal, Government of India.
We render effective supervision at the loading and unloading points. Point to point monitoring of rake movement is undertaken. Our experienced Loading Supervisory Personnel at various collieries/loading points ensure proper loading of wagons, witnessing of weighment etc., so that our clients receive quality coal in adequate quantity.
We collect all Railway Receipts and forward the same along with wagon statement details to our customers promptly, furnish them actual despatch details like wagon numbers, Engine number etc. and status of moment upto destination.
We undertake pre-paid RR system (Under Credit Note/freight DD method) so that our customers can save surcharge levied by the Railways.
We also work out well in advance all the logistics involved as regards rail movement, loading and unloading etc. |
