| Mr. SMC Pillai joined the Board of Directors of the NAIRSONS Group in 2002 as
Director. An Engineering Graduate with M.Tech in Design and Production of power plant machinery (Thermal) with production planning instrumentation and controls as electives, Shri Pillai has done Advance Management Power Plant from Central Electricity Generating Board (CEGB), UK. He is a senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Inc. and fellow member of Institute of Engineering India. He has served National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) for more than 17 years as GM, ED and Director. He also served member of Advisory Committee on Nuclear Safety (ACNS) and as advisor (Power) to Government of Kerala. He also had held the position of president and CEO of Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited, Energy Division and BSES Kerala Power Limited. Mr. Pillai has been entrusted the reins of the company’s power division for expansion in the power sector. |
